Who Needs a Background Check? If you are 18 or older and not part of a Cell Group, you must either:
- Complete a background check through our service before camp begins (the camp will cover the cost), or
- Provide proof of a clean background check that has been completed within the last three years.
Disqualifications
For the safety of our campers, individuals may not attend camp if:
- They have a sexual or violent crime on their record within the last five years or at any time as an adult.
- They have any felony conviction within the past five years.
How to Complete Your Background Check
- 2025 Camp Season: We strongly encourage all background checks to be completed ahead of time to ensure a smooth check-in process. However, onsite background checks will still be available if needed.
- Starting in 2026: Background checks must be completed at least 30 days before camp begins, with limited exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.
Next Steps
- If you need a background check, complete the form below. Creek Week will cover the cost. Please complete it before arriving at camp if possible.
- If you have a recent background check (within the last three years), bring documentation to camp check-in or email it in advance.
- Have questions? Reach out to Michael Weatherford, camp registrar, for assistance.
